Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025 to Showcase Latest Innovations in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City: Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025, a pivotal international event for bicycles, electric bikes, electric motorcycles, motorcycles, and related accessories, is set to make its return to Ho Chi Minh City this August. The expo, marking its tenth edition, is co-organised by VINEXAD under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Vietnam Automobile, Motorcycle and Bicycle Association (VAMOBA). It will feature over 400 booths from leading domestic and international companies.

According to Lao News Agency, the event will exhibit products featuring improved quality and innovative designs, alongside new technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience two-wheeled vehicles first-hand and engage with professional coaches and athletes. Furthermore, the expo will host seminars to facilitate business interactions with experts in the two-wheeled vehicle industry, offering potential investment opportunities.

Significantly, the Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025 will coincide with the Vietnam Sport Show 2025, an international exhibition on sports and outdoor entertainment. This convergence will create a comprehensive series of industry exhibitions, featuring over 500 booths. The combined event, scheduled from August 14, is expected to draw more than 20,000 visitors over three days.

Mordor Intelligence projects that the global bicycle market will reach 69 billion USD by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.2% from 2024 to 2029. In Vietnam, bicycles are increasingly used for exercise and daily transportation, especially in major cities. Statista, a German market research firm, anticipates the bicycle industry’s revenue in Vietnam could hit 371.8 million USD by 2027, with approximately 2.49 million units sold. The electric motorbike market in Vietnam is also expanding rapidly, growing by 30%-35% annually, positioning the country as Southeast Asia’s largest electric vehicle market.

The previous edition, Vietnam Cycle Expo 2024, achieved notable success with participation from over 200 enterprises across 12 countries and territories, including Taiwan (China), Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, the US, Japan, France, Singapore, Switzerland, China, Italy, and Vietnam. It attracted more than 12,000 visitors from 45 countries and territories, resulting in numerous cooperation agreements.
