ICE Arrests Highlight Significant Threats Posed by Criminal Illegal Aliens

Washington, D.C.: Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the names and criminal histories of several illegal aliens arrested over the weekend, including individuals charged with serious offenses such as murder, pedophilia, and rape.

According to Homeland Security, the arrests were carried out by ICE agents who have been consistently targeting and apprehending high-risk criminal illegal aliens. The operation reflects the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to protect American communities despite facing an 830 percent increase in assaults against ICE officers. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin emphasized the risks undertaken by these officers to enhance public safety.

The arrested individuals include Chue Vue, a 37-year-old from Laos, and Gil Salinas-Anaclo, a 35-year-old Peruvian convicted of larceny in Pennsylvania. Other notable arrests include Gilmer Vertiz-Bustemante from Mexico, charged with murder in Texas, and Andra Adams Scott from Jamaica, convicted of attempted robbery in New York.

Additionally, Henry Jose Marquez from Venezuela was arrested in Los Angeles for cocaine smuggling, while Jovinnel Giron Meneses from the Philippines faced charges in Massachusetts for multiple counts of child rape and indecent assault. Juan Ramirez-Velasquez from Guatemala was apprehended for raping a minor in Delaware, and Emmanuel Evariste from Haiti was charged with conspiracy related to cocaine distribution in Boston.

Further arrests included Sakir Akkan from Turkey, convicted of rape in New York, and Nodir Negmatov from Uzbekistan, who was intercepted in Missouri while attempting to acquire military-grade equipment. These arrests underscore the diverse and serious nature of the crimes committed by these individuals.
