Vientiane: The Lao Front for National Development (LFND) in Vientiane held a wreath-laying ceremony on April 7, 2026, at the statue of Kaysone Phomvihane to mark the opening of its 9th Ordinary Congress.According to Lao News Agency, the ceremony took place at the Vientiane Administration Office and was led by Phongsavanh Siliphun, President of the LFND Vientiane and a member of the Party Standing Committee.
