Lao Ambassador Bids Farewell to Palestinian Envoy in Hanoi

Hanoi: Khamphao Ernthavanh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam, recently hosted a farewell meeting at the Lao Embassy in Hanoi with Saadi Salama, the Ambassador of Palestine to both Laos and Vietnam. This meeting marked the conclusion of Mr. Salama's diplomatic tenure in the region.

According to Lao News Agency, Saadi Salama, who also held the position of Head of the Diplomatic Corps in Vietnam, has served as the Ambassador of Palestine to the Lao PDR since 2009. Over the years, he has cultivated a strong connection with Laos and expressed his gratitude for the kindness and hospitality extended by the Lao people during his mission.

Diplomatic relations between the Lao PDR and Palestine were established on May 15, 1989. These relations are primarily facilitated through their respective embassies located in Vietnam, underscoring the continued engagement and cooperation between the two nations.
