Vientiane: Luang Prabang Power Company Limited (LPCL) has donated medical equipment valued at over LAK 800 million to the Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. This contribution aims to enhance healthcare services for local communities.
According to Lao News Agency, the equipment provided includes a fetal heart rate monitor, a tonsillectomy surgical instrument set, and an immunoassay analyser. Mr. Kitpoat Srasomsub, Deputy Managing Director - Construction of LPCL, officially handed over the equipment to Mr. Phouvana Anoulackkham, Director of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital.
The support is intended to bolster the hospital's ability to conduct medical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment, thereby improving access to quality healthcare services within the province. This initiative is part of LPCL's community development efforts and contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which focuses on promoting good health and well-being.
