The National Day holiday saw an estimated 763,000 people passing through airports across the country during August 31-September 3, equal to 98% of the figure in the same period last year. Of the total figure, there were more than 406,500 foreigners, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. Meanwhile, the number of domestic passengers dropped by 15.6% to over 356,500. Air cargo transport rose 11% to some 13,000 tonnes.Source: Vietnam News Agency
