HD Hyundai Electric Co. on Friday reported its third-quarter net profit of 116.6 billion won (US$84.5 million), up 114.7 percent from a year earlier.Operating income for the July-September period was 163.8 billion won, up 91.8 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 13.6 percent to 788.7 billion won.The operating profit was in line with the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
