C. Luzon: The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) on Wednesday formally activated its Media Action Center (MAC) to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and credible electoral process in Central Luzon. In a statement, PRO-3 said the center will serve as a centralized information hub where members of the media and the general public can obtain official updates, raise queries, and report election-related incidents.
According to Philippines News Agency, the center aims to streamline the flow of accurate, timely, and verified information directly from law enforcement to the public, the PRO-3 said. ‘The activation of the PRO-3 Media Action Center is a clear testament to our unwavering dedication to maintaining peace and order, while ensuring open communication and transparency between the police and the public during this crucial time,’ PRO-3 chief Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said.
The PRO-3 said the center was launched as part of its commitment to transparency, accurate information dissemination, and public engagement during the election period. In addition to the regional center, corresponding MACs have also been activated across all provincial and city police offices under PRO-3.
These centers will be manned 24/7 by designated personnel ready to assist with public concerns, media inquiries, and incident reporting throughout the election period.
