Champasak Athletes Aim for More Medals at National Games

Vientiane: The competitive spirit is soaring as Champasak Province’s athletes embark on a massive day of medal contention at the 12th National Games in Vientiane.

According to Lao News Agency, after an impressive start, the Champasak delegation is showing true prowess, having already secured a collection of 31 medals as of November 16. This haul includes 8 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, and 16 Bronze Medals.

Today, the team faces a schedule filled with medal opportunities, with athletes competing in various disciplines aiming to bring more glory back to the province. Key events include medal rounds in Track and Field, Soft Tennis (Men’s Doubles), Swimming (7 events), Wrestling (Men’s and Women’s), and Shooting (Women’s 10m Air Rifle).

Exciting team events like Football (Men’s), Beach Volleyball (Men’s), Indoor Volleyball (Men’s), Badminton (Women’s Team), Petanque, Sepak Takraw, and Table Tennis are set to heat up the competition.
