Chinese Ambassador Highlights Milestones and Future Prospects in China-Laos Diplomatic Relations

Vientiane: Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Ms. Fang Hong, engaged in an exclusive interview with Lao media to commemorate the 64th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Lao PDR.

According to Lao News Agency, the formal establishment of relations on April 25, 1961, has fostered a long-standing partnership. Ambassador Fang underscored the historical importance of the China-Laos relationship, describing the nations as “special comrades and brothers,” and noted their shared history, especially in joint initiatives against American imperialist aggression, while emphasizing ongoing socio-economic collaboration.
