Vientiane: Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune welcomed Mr. Liao Lin, Chairman of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), and his delegation during their official visit to Laos. DPM Kikeo recognized the significant role of ICBC’s Vientiane branch in the socio-economic development of Laos, emphasizing the strong ties between Laos and China. He noted ICBC’s impact on economic growth, job creation, and strengthening the financial infrastructure in the country.

According to Lao News Agency, DPM Kikeo commended the bank’s contributions to various sectors including trade, investment, infrastructure development, renewable energy projects, tourism, and international relations.
