Khounkham: Phoxay Xayasone, the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare and a National Assembly candidate, recently visited Khounkham District as part of his election campaign to engage with voters and extend humanitarian aid.
According to Lao News Agency, during his visit on February 13, Xayasone donated 20 tons of white rice, valued at 300 million kip, to local authorities. This contribution is intended for residents in 17 villages severely impacted by the 2025 floods.
The district representatives received the donation in the presence of Xaysana Khotphouthone, the Party Secretary of Khammouane Province, along with other relevant officials.
