Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia PMs Discuss Stronger Trilateral Cooperation

Hanoi: The three Prime Ministers welcomed the opportunity to meet again and highly valued the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam trilateral meeting mechanism held alongside regional and international gatherings. They described the mechanism as an important strategic platform for strengthening traditional friendship, special solidarity, and long-standing mutual support among the three Indochinese nations.According to Lao News Agency, the leaders praised the continued expansion of comprehensive cooperation among the three countries, particularly in political, defense, and security cooperation based on strong mutual trust. They expressed confidence that meetings at all levels would further deepen solidarity and advance trilateral cooperation.The Prime Ministers also exchanged updates on bilateral relations between Laos-Vietnam, Laos-Cambodia, and Cambodia-Vietnam, while discussing regional and international issues of common concern.On the occasion, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone thanked the leaders of Cambodia and V ietnam for congratulating him on his re-election as Prime Minister of the Lao PDR. He also called for stronger cooperation in key priority areas, including infrastructure connectivity, energy, trade, investment, tourism, and closer coordination in regional and international forums.
