Vientiane:Myanmar's military chief recently visited a premier military academy in Laos, where he was warmly received by Major General Phanseng Bounphan, the academy's Military Chief, along with senior officials and executive board members.

According to Lao News Agency, during the visit, Major General Phanseng provided a comprehensive briefing to the Myanmar delegation. He highlighted the academy's historical development, its operational mandate, and future training plans, emphasizing that such engagements are vital for reinforcing the longstanding defense cooperation between Myanmar and Laos.

General Ye Win Oo, representing the Myanmar delegation, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and shared the objectives of his official visit to Laos. His visit included a tour of the academy's Tradition Hall, marking the conclusion of the session.
