National Assembly Candidates Engage with Voters in Champasak

Champasak: Candidates for the 10th National Assembly representing Constituency 15 of Champasak Province convened with voters at Infantry Regiment 502 on February 9, 2026, to deliver their platforms ahead of the February 22 election.

According to Lao News Agency, the delegation consisted of 10 candidates, including two women, and was led by Mr. Keolattana Sihavong, who serves as a Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice President of the Champasak Provincial People's Council, and Candidate No. 4. The meeting was attended by district authorities, military leadership, and personnel from Battalions 11, 12, 18, and Special Forces Battalion 429.

During the gathering, candidates presented their backgrounds and policy priorities, promising to be committed representatives of the people if elected. They highlighted their intention to listen to constituents and convey public concerns to the National Assembly for deliberation.

The candidates also stressed the significance of civic participation, urging officers and soldiers to be aware of their rights and responsibilities and to actively engage in the forthcoming election.
