National Assembly Candidates Present Development Plans to Voters in Chanthabouly District

Chanthabouly: Candidates for the 10th National Assembly representing Constituency 1 of Vientiane Capital (Group 4) gathered at Wat Phontong Savath in Chanthabouly District to engage with voters, outlining their qualifications and development priorities ahead of the February 22 election.

According to Lao News Agency, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ketsudakon Watthanasai, Vice Chairman of the Chanthabouly District Administration, along with local authorities and residents from several villages including Savang, Thong Sang Nang, Hong Saeng, Hong Kai Keo, Dong Paleap, Phontong Savath, and Phontong Chommany.

The candidates included Mr. Xaynakhone Inthavong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry; Mr. Nakhasen Sihalath, Member of the Vientiane Capital Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Vientiane Capital People's Council Office; Mr. Sonexay Sisomphan, Member of the Vientiane Capital Party Committee and Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism; Ms. Boualaphan Thilasack, Vice President of the Party Inspection Committee and Vice President of the Vientiane Capital State Inspection Authority; and Mr. Pasatxay Philaphandeth, Director of Lao Toyota Service Co., Ltd.

During the session, candidates shared their professional backgrounds and policy priorities, focusing on their pledges to advocate for the rights and interests of the citizens. They also encouraged the 10,883 eligible voters across 12 polling units in the seven villages to participate in the election. The National Assembly election is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026.
