As many as 40 delegations, along with many individuals came to the Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil to sign a book of condolences and pay last respects for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong from July 24 - 26. The delegations included representatives from Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Chamber of Deputies, the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), the Workers' Party (PT), the Democratic Labor Party (PDT), the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET), and the embassies of ASEAN countries, Cuba, China, Russia, the US and the European Union (EU) in Brazil. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, more than 30 delegations came to the Vietnamese Embassy in the Philippines to pay respect to the late Party leader. In Taiwan, many students and postgraduate students from the Vietnam Student Association in Taiwan came to pay their respects and sign the condolence book in memory of the Party leader at the Vietnam Eco nomic - Culture Office in Taipei.Source: Vietnam News Agency
