Quang ninh: The Quang Ninh Food Festival 2025 is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 2 at Sun Carnival Square in Bai Chay ward. This year’s festival, themed ‘Quang Ninh – Convergence of the Best Food’, promises an array of local and international culinary experiences.
According to Lao News Agency, the festival will feature approximately 200 booths divided into three main sections: international cuisine, Vietnamese cuisine from the northern, central, and southern regions, and Quang Ninh’s own coastal and mountainous specialties. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy artistic performances, cocktail shows using local ingredients, and participate in free workshops to learn how to make traditional dishes such as cha muc, banh gat gu, nem chua, cha nem, and banh chung.
A standout feature of this year’s festival is the international food zone, which will include contributions from top hotels, restaurants, and service providers worldwide. This promises a unique culinary experience that highlights the festival’s commitment to celebrating global food culture.
As the festival marks its fifth annual edition, it aims to enhance tourism, promote cultural values, and celebrate Quang Ninh’s unique culinary heritage. Organizers expect to draw between 30,000 and 50,000 visitors, significantly contributing to the province’s tourism goals of welcoming 21.2 million tourists in 2025, with 1.25 million international arrivals anticipated in the fourth quarter alone.
In an effort to further boost tourism, Quang Ninh plans to host around 30 additional cultural and sporting events by the end of the year. These include the first Vietnam Travel Day, the Bach Dang Victory Art Exhibition, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon, and the Yen Tu Heritage – Touch the Legacy Run.
Additionally, November will see the introduction of the Grand Slam Halong Bay with projects from the Republic of Korea. This series of events will feature the International Businesswomen Beauty Pageant, concerts with leading Korean artists, fashion shows, and an international marathon, attracting prominent entrepreneurs, artists, and influencers from both Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
