MANILA: Alibeg Rasulov of Trkiye prevailed by unanimous decision over Ok Rae Yoon of South Korea in their ONE Championship showdown at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday night.The 31-year-old fighter maintained his momentum throughout the grueling five rounds to rise to 14-0.The fight was supposed to be for the interim title while defending champion Christian Lee of the United States is sidelined by injury.However, Rasulov failed to make the 170-pound weight limit.Meanwhile, Japanese Hiroba Minowa beat Filipino fighter Jeremy Miado by split decision in a strawweight duel.It was Miado's fourth straight loss for an overall 6-8 card. His last ONE win came in 2022 and he has since bowed to Mansur Malachiev, Lito Adiwang, Keito Yamakita and Minowa.In the co-main event, No. 1 bantamweight muay contender Nico "King of the North" Carrillo of Scotland also beat Saemapetch Fairtex of Thailand by technical knockout (TKO).The 25-year-old applied his powerful punches to dominate the local bet, w ho was knocked down for the third time in the 2:03 mark of the second round.Carillo improved his record to 27-3.American Tye Ruotolo, the reigning ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion, triumphed over Taiwanese-German Jozef Chen in a 186-pound non-title match.Ruotolo, who is unbeaten in ONE Championship, now has a 28-9 record.In other results, Belarusian Kirill Grishenko defeated South Korean Kang Ji Won in the battle of heavyweights, while French Bampara Kouyate beat Luke Lessei by TKO in the featherweight muay match.Source: Philippines News Agency
