Vientiane: The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos organized a series of commemorative activities on August 25 to honor the 80th National Day of Vietnam, highlighting the Vietnamese community’s profound pride and gratitude towards their homeland.

According to Lao News Agency, the event at the embassy began with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony attended by officials, staff, and their families, who sang the national anthem together. The celebration extended to Patouxay Square, where embassy staff, expatriates, and Vietnamese students formed the number ’80’ to symbolize the historic anniversary. The display, set against the red ao dai and the national flag, served as a powerful emblem of unity and national pride.
