A competition entitled 'Vietnam in my heart' aiming to promote the Vietnamese language was launched in Hungary on September 8. Held by the Budapest Vietnamese Language Centre, the event was launched in celebration of the day honouring the Vietnamese language (September 8).The contest aims to foster a love for the Vietnamese language and strengthen the connection to the homeland among young overseas Vietnamese in the European country.Tran Anh Tuan, head of the centre, said that the contest is open to various forms, such as essays, poetry, articles, video clips, and drawings.The submission period runs from September 8, 2024, to March 7, 2025.Source: Vietnam News Agency
