A delegation from Vietnam's northern mountainous province of Dien Bien and Lao province of Luang Namtha signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two sides at their talks in Dien Bien Phu city on August 22. Accordingly, the two provinces will conduct communication work to raise people's awareness of upholding long-standing traditions, promote the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos and between Dien Bien and Luang Namtha provinces. Favourable conditions will be created for the implementation of cooperation activities in areas of mutual interest within the framework of collaboration between the two countries and between the two provinces.Source: Vietnam News Agency
