Moscow: Today, President Thongloun Sisoulith will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of his official visit to the Russian Federation. The visit aims to further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between Laos and Russia.
According to Lao News Agency, President Thongloun and his Russian counterpart are set to discuss current issues pertaining to cooperation in trade, economy, and cultural and humanitarian affairs. They will also exchange views on pressing regional and international matters.
Following the discussions, a number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, marking a significant step in the collaboration between the two nations.
