Vientiane: Laos has inaugurated its 2025 annual job fair in Vientiane, a three-day event scheduled from December 12 to 14. The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. It brings together various stakeholders, including government agencies, employment service companies, and businesses, to offer more than 250 job vacancies and meet the demand for over 1,000 workers.

According to Lao News Agency, Vice Minister Keo Chanthavilay, while speaking at the opening, emphasized the significance of job fairs. He highlighted their role in improving access to labor market information, promoting legal employment opportunities both domestically and internationally, and supporting national efforts to create decent and stable work for Lao citizens throughout the country.
