Vientiane: Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone received a courtesy visit from Mrs. Chea Leang, Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of Cambodia, along with her delegation. The delegation is on an official visit to the Lao PDR from July 14 to 18. During the meeting, the Prime Minister extended a warm welcome to the visitors and expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting it as a meaningful step in reinforcing the longstanding friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between Laos and Cambodia.

According to Lao News Agency, Mrs. Chea Leang conveyed her gratitude to Prime Minister Sonexay for the hospitality extended to her delegation. She also shared insights into the objectives and activities planned during their working visit in the Lao PDR.

The cooperation between the Supreme Prosecutor’s Offices of Laos and Cambodia has seen growth in recent years. This development has been marked by high-level exchange visits and the sharing of experiences, which have contributed positively to prosecutorial work in both countries.
