Youth Executive Committee Lays Wreath at the Statue of President Kaysone Phomvihane

Vientiane: The Youth Executive Committee of the Party Central Committee Propaganda and Training Board, led by Mr. Phouvieng Phongsavathdy, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union and Secretary of the Youth Executive Committee of the Propaganda and Training Board, along with grassroots youth committees and members, laid a flower wreath at the statue of President Kaysone Phomvihane at the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum in Vientiane. The ceremony was organized to mark several significant milestones, including the upcoming 6th Congress of the Party Committee of the Party Central Committee Propaganda and Training Board, the success of the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 9th Lao Youth Union Central Committee, and the commemoration of three historic days of the Party and the nation.

According to Lao News Agency, the wreath-laying ceremony serves as an expression of respect and gratitude toward President Kaysone Phomvihane, a leader of the Party, the State, and the Lao nation. His leadership in mentoring and guiding the youth and his integral role in the revolutionary cause of Laos are remembered. He led through national liberation and development and pioneered the Party's "Renovation" policy, achieving victories for the country.

The event aimed to inspire youth across the Propaganda and Training Board to learn from the revolutionary ethics and ideology of President Kaysone Phomvihane and apply these principles to their lives. Following the ceremony, the delegation toured the museum to view historical artefacts and photographs detailing the revolutionary activities of President Kaysone Phomvihane.
