Kazan: Prime Minister Sonexay is set to lead the Lao delegation at the 35th Anniversary ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, scheduled to be held in Kazan, Russian Federation, from June 17-19, 2026.

According to Lao News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the Prime Minister's official visit and participation in the summit are at the invitation of the Russian side. This visit underscores the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Laos and Russia, reflecting the importance of the ASEAN-Russia partnership.
